I was wondering who locally has officially registered their diesel conversions with the state. My registration is up and wondering if I should even bother with it. I didn't have a problem getting a safety only diesel inspection with a "gas" registration.

There is no field/area on the title that specifies fuel type. I've had two diesel conversions and never had a problem with the title or yearly inspections.

Sounds like my plan of doing nothing other than renewing by mail like in the past will work then. I notice on my registration renewal it has "fuel type" but it is blank.

Dave is correct, they don't care except that they don't charge you for emissions. Had a BJ70 and a conversion too. Mail it in and drive for another year :)
