Yout could also go with a converted FJZ80 that has a 1HDT in it if you'd like newer, although it's not cheap. They are MUCH more comfortable to drive! Anyways, I actually got 25.5 once in mine, but that was just after I'd bought it and was driving it like I was afraid I'd break it. Now that I flog on it, if I keep it at 55 mph and don't have much for hill travel I can actually get ~24 mpg. 22 mpg is actually more the usual since I cruise at 60-65. Keep in mind I have 33s and this is unladen. Add weight or tow something and that will drop. Also, while it will tow what you're asking it to, don't expect what a large diesel truck here in the US can dish out. My old beater 97 f350 trash hauler will out-tow my cruiser anyday, just keep that in mind when you're towing. Take it easy! (AND SHOW US PICS WHEN YOU GET IT!!! :D)
