Does the 99 even have a APPS???? I thought its cable driven still for that year.

I have both the APPS and TPS on my 98.

Since replacing the fuse we've gone two weeks without another incident.

Truggier, thanks for the link (i'm subscribed to it now). I hope your problems are over! I'm gonna take a look at this tonight. Luckily, it hasen't happend but the one time. She has a key issue too so I'm going to change that out as well. Thanks for all the help/support on this topic.

Hey you're welcome. We're going on a month now without any issue since replacing the fuse. I'm guessing it hasn't happened again for you?

I have the problem you described, since it is now Mat 2012 I was wondering if you found any problems besides the fuse (I have replaced it, and still having the problem)

Happened to me six months ago, once, 750 miles from home. Worried like hell for a couple hours after. No lights came on and it fired right back up. It was real cold out and we were at 5k' but we live higher than that so I doubt it was related to elevation. It's still in the back of my mind that it could happen again. Curious as well please post if you found anything. I will check into previous link ad well. Thanks!
