Didn't somebody from Durham sell this.

Good catch! Yes, this was Juan and Maria's (Flinny and Worldcruiser). It recently sold. It is one thing to flip it for twice as much as was paid, but it is another to link to the original owner's photobucket site.

LAME

Yep

That was Maria's build...looks like they just used their pics too...I thought they sold it, but can't remember.

Here is her build: Flinny

I hate flippers..... that was a nice truck too

Lets mail bomb him

Seems Juan and Maria do good work, their trucks always sell for 2x plus then what they originally sold them for!

Per the seller, he got their permission to use the pics. He has said he has spent a good bit of money since the purchase to 'finish' it.

Maybe it's not that bad afterall...just the way the ad came across seemed to scream LAME.

:meh:

hi guys....

Yes that is the cruiser we fixed up. The seller is a nice guy so please dont need to bash him. His name is James and he lives in Wilmington.

I got an email from him today telling me he will put it up for sale and that he will use the pics...I did not mind since it will help him with the sale. I did not even check the Ad so I did no know how much he listed for until I read the post here.

I don't know how much $ he put on it but the original $9500 he listed was too high in my opinion. I am not in the position to judge him for that...The car was 90% finished when he got it from me. For someone that would do the work himself it did not need much money, just time and patience (which we have not had any lately!)

He was not mechanically inclined so if you pay someone to do the work the bill can run up high.......that being said I don't know how much he spent but I know how much he paid for.

I only wish I could at least drive it around a little bit before it sold....

Anyways! Hope to make a ride soon....(I am missing Stacys' treats:))I am tempted to go to Brown Mountain if I can find a radiator for the 80 before that...and a pet sitter for the goats and chickens!!!
