Did SEarch, Full Compression and Extention on STOCK shocks (1 Viewer)

As the title says.

Looking for what the numbers are on the STock Shock on an 96 fzj80 fully compressed and fully extended. If you can point me to the correct search/past post I'd also appreciate (I wasn't able to find anything ). Thnx in advance

STOCK SHOCK LENGTH in Inches would be:

Ext. Comp.
Front 22.48" / 13.98"

Rear 22.52" / 14.25"

Thanks for the help, I knew the info was somewhere out there for such a basic item.

what length were they referring to?


I measured my OEM shocks, I got:

- front 618 and 410 mm or 24.3" and 16.1" from mounting surface to mounting surface (i.e. between the 2 bushings)

- rear: 605 / 380mm or 23.8" / 15.0" from mounting surface to center of eye

quite a bit different.

In comparing lengths to my OME (not L shock) it wouldn't make sense for the stock to be the measurements you took b/c the OME are FRONT 24.2"/13.9" REAR 24.4"/14.6" off slee's site

OK, my measurements don't make sense then...

and you do know what length they are using as reference on these values you are quoting, I presume?

I just installed the

b461477 594mm 365 mm front (extended/compressed)
b461478 591mm 380mm rear

Bilsteins and they are great. Wow on that thread referanced above. Did that guy ever provide anyone with actual usable data?
