I'm in need of a TC rebuild on a 62 in the DFW area. I was going to do this awhile back with a mud member but by the time the rebuild kit came in I had trouble getting back in touch. Anyway... I want to rebuild since it needs split to remedy fluid migration between AT and TC. I have a complete rebuild kit for the TC and a 'McNamara gear' to install, I just need the most important piece - cruiser shop/experience that is willing to take on the work (and allow me to 'help' if possible).

Probably get more results if you ask here: TX- Lone Star Land Cruisers

Not sure if Baertrax does transfer case/transmission work or not, but they're good for everything else Cruiser-related: Baertrax

Baker Tire in Bonham, TX is well known for Cruiser mechanical work too so you might check with them. Don't know if they have a web site.

hook up with a local and do it yourself. it is actually very rewarding...

which way is the oil migrating?

Fluid is migrating from the transmission to the transfer case - I'm running ATF in the transfer for the time being.

Derp... Not sure why I didn't think to hit up the local clubs.
