Desperately WTB: 1st gen 4runner

Pretty much as fed up with the Jeep thing as a person can get. I need a 'yota again. Here is want I am looking for...

-1st generation 4runner
-22re motor preferred, but anything other than a v8 swap will be considered
-solid axle preferred, but not necessary at all
-preferred 5 speed, but not necessary
-must be drivable upon purchase
-price willing to spend: negotiable depending on condition/miles


I live in Wisconsin (53190) pretty much in the middle of Madison, Milwaukee, and Chicago, but I am willing to to travel to check out/pick up a vehicle, regardless of where it is (to an extent.)

Please help me get back on the right track (aka: I don't want to drive my jeep anymore!!!)

i have a 1985 that is 95% rust free and runs good with 199k it has a bolt stripped out of the head where the manifold attaches but that will be fixed before i sell it. it is all stock and in good shape with the desirable 22re and straight axle and best of all i am only 1 hour from milwaukee in harvard IL.i will go get some picks just send me your email, after it gets fixed price will be $2k

I have an '87 in Arizona(no rust). 22RE SR5, 5sp. with IFS. It was my DD until 2 years ago. Pretty much been mothballed since. PM me if you want more details.

If money is no issue, there is a 60K original mile 89 on ebay...located in Vegas.
