I’m in search of an air tank for the rear airbags. I really just need the solenoids and I know so many of you have removed your systems, that I’m hoping someone has a working one they can sell me. I’ve checked 1/2 dozen pick and pulls/ junk yards here in denver and no one even has GX470 (mines a 2004).

I was getting codes 34, 44 and 61 and I could hear the solenoids repeatedly going on and off when I tried to lower the GX470.

I cleared the codes and it seemed to work again briefly, but the lowering was very slow indicating the tank solenoid was bad. Code 44 was never cleared also indicating it was the tank solenoid. I dropped the tank and performed the diagnostics on it and all the solenoids are good except the tank solenoid, as expected. It tested open and as expected it didn’t click when I put 12 volts across it.

Movies won’t play but they show the solenoids clicking properly for all but the tank solenoid.

Check with some toyota offroad shops in the area to see if they might have what you need. I'd start with toytec and rsg and see what they have to say.

Great idea. I’ll call around tomorrow but sure would like to just pay someone for their old one that is taking up space in the garage!

Well I was able to locate the solenoid from another user who had recently done an airbag delete and it’s worked great ever since. Another family member now has the same solenoid go bad! Anyone recently perform a delete??? I need a solenoid!
