Dent on inside driver door panel - Common?

Hello everyone,

As I shop for vehicles, I have come across a few that have a bit of a dent on the inside panel of the driver door. You can see them on the pictures below, right next to the storage pocket. Is this common? What causes it? Thanks in advance for the feedback.

Never seen it but my first guess would be dirty seatbelt didnt retract then got caught when closing the door.

I've got one. Mines full thickness in one spot too.

Has anyone experienced dents on the plastic skirting on outside bottom of doors.Took mine in for service somehow they managed to do it and very hard to pull it out even dent removal as its plastic.
