Thanks to all the info posted at this forum, I was able to change out my bank 1/sensor 1 today after getting a P0135 code and CEL. The process was very easy and taking the recommendations from people here, I bought a O2 sensor tool and it really helped.
I went the cheap way and used the Denso O2 sensor from Amazon. I've seen posts about concerns that Denso sensors may not last as long as the Toyota ones. For those who used the Denso sensors here, can you share your experience on its longevity? Depending on what people are getting out of these sensors, I may buy the Toyota ones instead the next time a sensor needs to be replaced.
I noticed that the Denso sensor's wiring is longer than the old one that I removed. The vehicle is at 182,000 and I've had it for the last 40K miles or so. Not sure if the old one is the original and I don't see any Toyota markings on it. Do Toyota O2 sensors come with Toyota printed or etched on it?
