Zach, why on earth would you be worried about body damage?!? Just look at how pretty my 80 is!

Honestly, I think beating the piss outta my panels would be a shame on her... bump/bruises are fine but caving panels was never my intention on it. Somewhere in the excitement of building a capable rig with the right parts I forgot I was building a decent bodied Wagon. Mace's suggestion in post #14 kinda hit home with me... especially since I didnt get to all the work on my 60. I think having the satisfaction of building a buggy myself would be very rewarding.

So now I'm at a crossroad... either get to cuttin more or wheel as she is knowing that I'm not always going to be able to follow the more dedicated rigs. Meanwhile start builing something that will.

All comes down to money, time, and space....

and my wife's blessing. :)

I like the look of Cams fj62 a little more than this...I dont have a picture of it off hand but its a pretty bad ass 60.

Nah, now... Its a buggy now.

Cool old pic though

Dude .. more hard core wheeling in a full bodied Cruiser ( aka 60 series ) means, sure more body damage. You will reach a point that you don't care of body and interior ( like carpet and other details, at least to me coz I love keep clean my rigs ) or paint ..

So you will wheel in a very capable rig that looks like yunk yard rig .. all of this until you decide get into the body shop and fix the scrats and painting ..

After that you will found yourself taking care of your body .. and sure decline some trails .. this it's my experience. Don't get me wrong, I love go out and wheling hard .. but it's alwais expensive for my pocket .. and I hate keep a crash much time in my TLC ..

which one was that?

Heres his buggy. 3fe-a440f-203-splitcase. All cruiser but the 203.

Cam tugging me over the last ledge on slickrock. This is where my tranny pan skidplate gave its life :flipoff2:.

Ive been after him about doing a writeup or filling me in more on it for a while. Important facts that i know are you will probably have to ditch the rear heater because the 203 has to come through the floorboard there, that he cut down the output, and that it works.
