So, my hunt for an HZJ73 is coming along, had a few prospects but passed on them. Yens s*** right now so I can hold off a bit till it comes back up until a truck is found. But I can't really bank on that.
Figured I could have a bit of money for the 73 instead of the 77 because the 77 would leave me broke. And honestly I only really need a 73 right now....
Anyways lets cut to the chase,
I am really wanting to Turbo the 1HZ as soon as I get it. Love my Dads 73 to bits but the thing is a bit of a smoking dog comparing to the 1hd-t. I'm young, I like a bit more pep.
Anyways the denco kit has an optional 2.5 inch exhaust. I really want to go 3 inch for a cooler pyro and just because its 3 inch

Is it a pain in the ass to bring it to an exhaust shop and say I want a 3 inch dump pipe and 3 inch basically straight through with a flex joint and a big 3 inch resonator all in stainless. I am mainly worried about a fitting for the denco turbo.....
Is it do able without hastle.
What do you figure a stainless exhaust will run me?
Also for you turbo guys, Do you think it would be a bad thing to up the boost from 7-8psi to 10psi. I think if I really want more juice I would get the Water to Air kit but I will see how the turbo kit goes (fund dependant).
Ceramic coating the turbo and the manifold. Is that a fairly expensive thing to do? Would I really see a considerable drop in EGTs if I did this?
Where would I send this stuff to get coated?
