It is 5 miles south of Tarrytown, on the East side.

There is a "game check station" there...

Jacksonville FL

Hey hows everyone doing. I was wondering if there is anyone in here from Jacksonville. I would like to connect with some CrusierHeads here in Jacksonville to see the different projects and what not people are working on in my local area and plus to see I can be any help and or get help from others.

Happy Cruisin!

What do you say to this , let's hear it . Remember it's election year , not that it's doing much good for us in the ,what they call the " middle class " .

This was in the Waco Tribune Herald, Waco, TX, Nov 18, 2011
PUT ME IN CHARGE...

Put me in charge of food stamps. I'd get rid of Lone Star cards; no cash for Ding Dongs or Ho Ho's, just money for 50-pound bags of rice and beans, blocks of cheese and all the powdered milk you can haul away. If you want steak and frozen pizza, then get a job.

Put me in charge of Medicaid. The first thing I'd do is to get women Norplant birth control implants or tubal legations. Then, we'll test recipients for drugs, alcohol, and nicotine. If you want to reproduce or use drugs, alcohol, or smoke, then get a job.

Put me in charge of government housing. Ever live in a military barracks? You will maintain our property in a clean and good state of repair. Your home" will be subject to inspections anytime and possessions will be inventoried. If you want a plasma TV or Xbox 360, then get a job and your own place.

In addition, you will either present a check stub from a job each week or you will report to a "government" job. It may be cleaning the roadways of trash, painting and repairing public housing, whatever we find for you. We will sell your 22-inch rims and low profile tires and your blasting stereo and speakers and put that money toward the "common good."

Before you write that I've violated someone's rights, realize that all of the above is voluntary. If you want our money, accept our rules. Before you say that this would be "demeaning" and ruin their "self esteem," consider that it wasn't that long ago that taking someone else's money for doing absolutely nothing was demeaning and lowered self esteem.

If we are expected to pay for other people's mistakes, we should at least attempt to make them learn from their bad choices. The current system rewards them for continuing to make bad choices.

AND while you are on Gov't subsistence, you no longer can VOTE! Yes, that is correct. For you to vote would be a conflict of interest. You will voluntarily remove yourself from voting while you are receiving a Gov't welfare check. If you want to vote, then get a job.

This place correct?

Well Damn, my daughter is the stage manager for a play at school and the tickets sold out for the evening show leaving only the 2PM matinee so I am out. So bummed, we really enjoyed last year.

February : Hard Rock of Ocala

Ok yet another trip and camp out at Hard Rock of Ocala !

February the 25th and 26th , to keep the cost down we can get there early Saturday morning . Wheel until the sun goes down , go back get a fire going and consume some beverages .

If anyone wants to come on Friday count me in . Well hope this is not to short of notice for those of you who have to ask for time off . We sat around the dinner table yesterday evening after FLCA's second Powder Puff event and came up with this trip for February .

Now we just need to plan out 9 more months . GSMTR is the 10th month for those of you who didn't know .

Post up if you are in or out for Hard Rock and let's hear some idea's for the rest of the year .

I'm in! Glad you picked that weekend cause I don't have a show. If we get ideas from others maybe we could draft up the year's calendar of events over dinner Saturday night?

sounds good to me, there is a place called Holder Mine that a rover guy told me about. Sounds mild but nice.

I hope to make that Hard Rock get together.

The Holder Mine I know about is located in the Withlachooee Forest here in Citrus County. It’s next to one of two campgrounds in the forest. It is only accessible by foot, no vehicles allowed.

There are a couple spots in the forest that will give you a mild challenge, but all that can be done in about two hours.

Well I think we may be a little more hardcore than the rover club. They held their annual meet there.

Cruiser mechanics

Can anyone recommend a mechanic? I've heard Tim Moye in Lutz and Dave Mays in Gainesville are excellent.
