I'll try and get over there and join ya'll . Have to see how bad my work load is that day .

Ya'll going to get there around 10 am

Yeah, when the gates open. PM me and we can exchange #'s if you plan to go.

Sort of, I found a site and downloaded it in PDF. So I'm good to go right now.

Other than putting in the rear seat into the 40, moving the batteries back to the engine area, installing the gas tank and redoing the seat supports, and replacing the clutch master and slave, I'm just kicking back...

Get your 40 back together yet? Quit slackin! Need anything else?

If you’re asking about my 40, it's together, sort of...

Will start doing a mod on the gas tank to install the 3F-E fuel pump in it. After that only the batteries to move and put in the clutch master/slave. Those should go without problems.

I'm holding off on the 3F-E top end swap until after the Powder Puff run in January. Looks to be straight forward, but don't worry; I can screw it up...

Then my TBI gets put on my son's truck, and what ever left over I have, I can put a TBI on the daughters 60. Should be done by July.

Sorry for the late reply ... Waiting for it to open now!

did not see anyone there . my son and i wheeled until 4 yesterday evening . had a ball , did see acouple of jeeps early afternoon . we are going back this thursday to play somemore if interested .

Went back to Hard Rock yesterday , another exciting adventure . Jesse ( my son ) got his nerve together after looking at Rollercoaster and went for it . Look for it on youtube soon . He got almost to the top and then the carb said Im done . After everything settled down and the dust cleared , ther he was stopped 20 feet from the top . I heard the turning of the engine as he was trying to get it to refire . Then out pop's a big black cloud of black smoke ," it starts !" ( who built this 40 ? ) . I yell " first gear !" , he let's off the brake , pop's the clutch and hits the gas all at the same time and rides it to the top . It was a site to see . Then we went back to play on the rocks and the first rock he try's to go over the left front birfield let's go . So now it's back in the garage , torn apart waiting on Santa to bring some Longfields . All I can say is it was worth every penny .

If he/you are planning on wheeling it harder than normal ask for some 30 splines and hub gears. Especially if you lock the front. Too bad it's a $100 just in fuel.... good luck with Santa!

Link for youboob?

Rocky, It appears it's still shifting.
Did you ever pull the top of the tranny off to check on the shifting issue?
