Anyone near Hudson mind checking out a 1st gen 4runner?

Greetings from NC,

My daughter has been looking for her first vehicle, and came across an 88 4runnier at a dealer lot in Hudson. Would someone mind taking a look at it and seeing if the pics do it justice? The dealer guy was honest and he didnt know if the timing belt had been done, but didnt provide much more info (i was on the road, and couldnt talk much.)

We are heading to Orlando for a few days June 9, im just afraid it will be gone by then. If someone checks it out and says its ok, I'll call the dealer and work out a deposit/transaction.

PM me if you would be able to help a mudder out. I can give you my cell #.

Thanks,
Steve

Always a very good time, and I can't say enough nice things about Trey (the park owner).

While the Gods were not working with me to get to GSMTR, I do plan to go to Choco. I have three offers to use other pickup trucks if I can't find the problem with mine.

I will be there!!!!

outta towner lookin for some local tips

hey folks,
hope i have the right section. we're in orlando right now doin the touristy thing with the fam. was wonderin if anyone can suggest an outdoor/camping store that sells jungle hammocks or something similar? somewhere close hoefully? i'm near disney/seaworld etc.. at a time share.
hopin someone can chime in! no biggy eitherway, it's really the only thing that's really tough to get (besides online) in s. ontario, and i don't really need anything else to shop for, lol.
cheers.

gat dang it's stankin hot down hur!!!

Bass Pro Shops may have what you are looking for. Of course you could order one but that doesn't have the same flair.

Its been a bit warm, hopefully the rain isn't dampening your spirits. You can come across the Beachline (528) and sit on the beach, then you should at least have a breeze.

Either way hope you have a great time, and good luck on the hammock.

thanks Bret. yep, it's been hot, but we haven't seen rain just yet, got real cloudy though and we thought it would pour. havin a blast!

too bad though, bass pro doesn't carry the hammock i'm lookin for. funny enough, there's an add on this thread for the hammockstore (sneaky!)

cheers.

2 sixties for the price of one!

Both are 85's with 2F engines and both run.
The body on the blue one is very rusty and minimal on the brown one.
The blue one has an OME Dakar suspension lift; the brown one a spring over axel.
The blue one has a weber carb/intake conversion; the brown is stock.
The blue one does not have the roof rack or front bumper shown in picture.
The brown one has a receiver front and rear to accommodate winch.
The brown one has AC (that works); the blue one does not have AC.
Both have factory four speed manual transmissions; neither have lockers.
Neither have radios.
I have not driven the blue one much at all.
I drove the brown one to North Carolina and back a month ago; did not have to adjust any fluid levels upon return. It needs a power steering box rebuild...I have the complete kit. This truck is strong.
Both trucks show around 200k miles...probably true.
Both "project" trucks for $3,450 and no bickering. Both trucks are in Central Florida.
I have a clear title on the brown one...I have not gotten the blue one as I was going to use it for parts. I think the blue one is possible. I have all the paper work.
If you need both registered I will do so. Click on the link below for pictures.
