First pic shows one of my touches, the second shows both scrapes... The top scrape is more pushed in than it looks in the pictures...

The rock rails I've got in my head would completely prevent that particular issue. Spring over vs stock means I'd be spending lots of time getting the ends of my u-bolts drug across big rocks by someone with a tow strap, at least. My co-driver (13yo) is pretty sure we can't make it.

Mark was your 40 locked at the time, when you drove thru the con?

You'll get there some day! Where there's a will there's a way ;)

Do you mean if it was locked in that picture, or if I had lockers for the run?

I had front and rear ARB's.. I run them off my Co2 system which after Buck Island ran out on me... So from Buck I did the rest of the trail open, open....
I was pleasently surprised how capable these rigs are even open! Never had to take a strap, or winch.. Even with Cadillac having a stream coming down it..

:clap::clap: to the FJ40

Since :deadhorse: is the only member on my ignore list I missed 18% of the post to this thread.

Did he contribute anything meaningful? Or was it more of his usual inflammatory BS?
If the latter why doesn't he rate a time out from the mods?

Back OT.
:o on my spelling error, sorry about that.

In case anyone missed it the pinch rock is on Strawberry Creek Trail NOT DV. I posted it to show how tight that spot is, otherwise Strawberry is pretty easy for a 100.

Did anybody commit to any dates? My summer is filling up fast, :grinpimp:

:deadhorse: this is the TRAILS section not tech....

Go TROLL somewhere else...

this is the TRAILS section not tech....

You have a SHORT memory........

"just replied to a thread you have subscribed to entitled - Deer Valley Challange - in the 100-Series Cruisers forum of IH8MUD.com Forum."

This thread originated and was live in the TECH section for a long time.

Nice try at a dig though. :D

keep up with current events Shotts. Look at the top of the page, it is now in TRAILS.

This is due to the fact it has become a trip planning thread and moved out of tech. Unless you are planning to join the trip, you are trolling.

circular logic, revisionist history & trolling... :deadhorse:

then by all means, continue with your douchebaggy-ness

Well your memory fails you too, My first post in this thread stated that I don't go into 80, 100, 200 tech.... so I came into this thread in the TRAILS section...

WRONG! I have the right to respond to comments/posts that refer to me specifically, regardless of where, or what trip, or what section.

If that's the case, I highly encourage you to join Schat.... It would be good for you.
