Anybody up for camping at Deer Creek? I was thinking the weekend of August 8th through the 10th.

Ideas? Feelers? Who's in??

Matt

My sister in law will be here that weekend. We were thinking of making a trip there but just for a day to swim around. We'll see, maybe. I was gonna go Sunday the 6th but figured it would be pretty crowded.

Still the plan? Brat and I are good to go! If this falls through then Sourdough here we come!

Let me know how the water is at Deer creek if you end up there. I'm gonna try to get up there in a couple weeks with my G-kids for a campout as long as there's still a place for them to swim. Have fun!;)

No go this weekend for myself, Ty or the Samurai guy. Two weeks from now sound good? I need to check my schedule to see, but 'should' be clear.

Officially canceled? Hmmm, guess there are many options of places to go now!

Si, I'm fighting a nasty stomach yuck. Camping as I feel right now feels like hell. Hopefully re-coupe tomorrow, but didn't want to push my luck.

Official un-canceled!

Weekend of September 13th-14th, mark your calenders and be there even just for a day. You know you want too!

Deer Creek today was awesome. Low water but both creeks still flowing. Lots of fish in that big swimming hole. Juvenile steelhead I guess?? Legal to catch or no?? Saw some about 10-12". They ripped some "spilled" potato chips to shreds! How to get those on a hook?

Aric, Daphne wants more rocks. But only pretty ones or ones that have "sparkles" in them. No sheeeet!

The afternoon lightning show was nice. Don't tie yer horse to no trees!

I'm believe this has been covered before, but l'd like to be sure...again.
Will my tercel make it(without damage) to the camp spot?
Taking the following week off and heading to Lake county but would love to start the trip with a stop at Deer Creek!
What say ye?

X2 but you could certainly drive on the pavement and jump in by the green bridge or any of the other popular spots. Let us know when you're coming through and if we're around you're welcome to stop by.
