Finaly decided to rebuild the transmission
2012 GX460 100K onboard overheat coolant one time at vail，CO
The vehicle has experienced multiple transmission error codes (2714, 0761, 0896) and has undergone transmission line flushing and fluid replacement. Despite these measures, the reverse gear has deteriorated from a cold-start no-reverse condition to a slipping condition, especially under load or when turning. Faced with a $7500 repair quote, I have opted to perform a self-rebuild and am currently sourcing a transmission rebuild kit.
