December 9, Family Fun Run- New River Canyon

Looks like a great day. I see you stopped at the favored spot for lunch at those large bolders which is about mid way on the trail.

I rememebr on a run a couple years ago, that is where Shannon busted out his newly made CO2 golf ball cannon.

Those are some nice clear pictures Carl - the water was almost snorkel deep!

If I remember right it was a Wednesday with 5 trucks: you and your Mom, Mountain Cruiser, Bluecruiser, AZRider, and myself back when I had the ARB (gosh, has it been that long!?)

Rock Crawlin'

Our kids enjoyed the big rocks.

The weather was nice. We saw two groups target shooting on State Trust Land. Bummer!

Just prior to this trip, Jackson installed J-springs on my Cruiser. And Tools R Us upgraded my front suspension from aftermarket caster correcting bushings to OEM bushings. OEM bushings ride sooo much nicer!!! It's like I am riding around aired down all the time now. He also narrowed my LCA's, did the caster washer mod, and dropped down my swaybar.

Those guys are awesome!

What I am trying to say is, I didn't think the trail was all that rough. Woo Hoo!!!! But, I agree, the trail is more rugged between our lunch spot and i-17.

Carl and Shawn we missed you guys. We waited until just after 9 for you at the meet up spot. I hope we can get our families out soon!
