I am seriously considering debadging the rear of the LX aside from the "L" in the center. I love cleaner looking vehicles, but I would like to see one in my color that's been done before I fully commit. Found a few different pics around the web but nothing in Blue Vapor. I would also like to see silver just in case there's no blue ones done here as it's fairly close.

Thanks much!

Here is a quick photoshop for you

Thank you so much, this is perfect! Really appreciate you taking the time. 👍

I have to say, that looks very nice in comparison. At the very least you inspired me to get rid of that V8 badge.

Great colour, don't know why you'd want to debadge though! Here's my old one. I'd leave it totally original as Lexus intended.
Lovely rig and those are some of the finest wheels I've seen on one!
It's totally personal taste and I don't actually hate the badges, I think they're well rendered here, but I tend to prefer a very clean and pure look. To your point however, badges really aren't "as Lexus intended" in the sense of the original designer's intent, the badges arrive once the marketing dept has had their say. Owners know what car they drive so badges are really there as advertising for the brand, and so I always likened them to those dealer badges that often get affixed to cars as well, serves the dealer more than you. Good thing is I can always reattach down the road if my tastes change.

That does look really good debadged. And that color is amazing!

I love it, changes from light blue in bright sun, to silver on overcast days, to a purple hue at dusk. Some trivia on this color; earlier versions used a much darker lower cladding color for contrast, while later versions used a lighter color on the cladding. You can see this difference in those two photoshopped images above.

Who knows the color code for the lower portion of the blue vapor metallic? The body panels…It’s darker and I can’t find it anywhere.
