WEll after 14 months the Lockers are installed finally. All we need now is the Compressor connected and the wiring done. It all being done with AIR and I am getting two flashing lights installed for when the lockers are engaged also.

At the same time the new seats were installed (from an ISUZU TROOPER 2 DOOR) and the harnesses and the rollcage also installed. The cage is fully removeable.

Cann't wait to take it for a run in the jungle.

I gave the welder the picture of the rollcage and away he went he has done a lot of cages before but not one with such a complicated roof spec. Comments or advice please. For cost here its 40mm normal tube as the high spec stuff is just so expensive and I am not doing comp in it.

any questions I will try and answer them.

The roll cage also has space at the bottom for two more batteries for the running of the all essential fridges which will make 4 batteries in the DEATHSTAR. I am looking at how to have 2 alternators and a SOLAR panel on the bonnet.

there is a lot of lost room and I have size 12 feet the shoes I was wearing saturday just fitted nicely - I suspect I will have to move something like the pedals all left some 20mm to make my feet happy

I did not get to drive it as the locker compressor was not wired in or air lines installed.

Nice cage:cheers: Did you need to modify the front doors? (dash-rollcage door)

THanks. It was my design after looking at a few comp trucks and what I wanted for my own saftey.

Only mod done was to remove the grab handles but they welded in two new ones for me to the cage. I need to fix the passenger seat up as the seat adjuster is right on the horizontal bar. THey may be made to move it yet.

I think they choped a little of the dash away to fit it down. THey did ask if they had to could they chop the dash end and I said yes. I saw another one recently where they chopped the down bar to make it fit between the dash and the door pillar with a oxy torch and a hammer. Oh it was bad very bad. A roll cage guy I knew looked at it and walked away shaking his head.

The quality of the welds and the joins is very good.
