Above 80kph my cruiser has been getting a nasty shake that eventually turns into death wobbles,. I’ve taken my car into a suspension joint which said that not much was wrong. They tightened up the tie rod end and bent the drag arm back. Anyways here’s a video of the underside flex of the car from this arvo.

Note: the car has brand new tyres that have been balanced which helped but the wobbles have come back all of a sudden.

Personally I’m sorta stumped on why it’s happening. Could it be the shockies? The video has me a bit worried about the chassis, but I’m not that knowledgeable on cars

Balancing and alignment, along with knuckle rebuild fixed mine.
Do you have a lift? If over 4 inch, I think, an adjustment on the camber I needed

To me, it's very obvious from the video:
Shackle bushings have lots of movement.
Second @Fishbulb I guess those are loose or shot. Tighten em up to spec, and if that doesn't help: Replace.
Check knuckle pins and wheel bearing play and general play in steering linkage, too.
Good Luck Ralf.

No lift, just got an alignment done before changing tyres, might need to get another one.

I had 3 or 4 companies do my alignment before someone got it right.
It was quite some time ago, so can't remember what the exact issue was.
Find a proper 4x4 alignment centre and pay the extra, they should sort it out.
I also put a old man emu steering dampener on. It masked the issue, but never fixed it

I think I will probably get a front end rebuilt, looking at the leaf springs today they look pretty shot, not lined up with each other. If I’m getting the leafs replaced may as well do it all so I don’t have to worry about it. I would love to take it apart myself, but the realestate are proper dogs and will winge and probably kick me out. Thanks guys!!! This has helped me out a lot!

I got a developed the death wobble.
New shackle bushings completely cured the issue.

Good news! Got the leaf spring shackles, shockies and steering damper done. Death wobbles are completely gone.

Old mate thought my old shockies were alright, however I got them replaced and the body roll is significantly reduced. She drives like a dream now!
