We went south from KR SP down rainbow canyon. Every year the road is posted as CLOSED, every year we drive through.

The Road to Bishop.

We found a great burger place in Bishop, the Little Village Cafe. It's tucked back in on the north end of town. Right next to the volunteer Fire Station.

After lunch we headed over Montgomery Pass to Mina and home.

If we did a do-over of our wonderful Explore Nevada 2010 this year I'm thinking it would have to be August!

No kidding, I was up in Elko a few days ago and the Ruby's are still absolutely covered in snow.
