Death Valley, Panamint Valley, and Saline Valley in a Week

A buddy and I are heading out to the Death Valley area. I can catch the morning report the park publishes daily. However, has anyone been there in the past two or three weeks? We are considering the Lippencot Road and some Saline Valley excursion for a few days.

Well we made it to the desert but not the normal stomping ground. We traveled around the the eastern Mojave by Inyokern and Jawbone Station. Here's a couple of pics. It was COLD on Monday and Tuesday. The rest of the time was pleasant. The caretaker at Bickel campl claimed that he has recorded 11" of rain since July 1. So, the flowers should be good to go for the next month.

We went through last weekend and it was clear as could be , We did try to go all the way up pleasant cyn with no luck. The snow above 6k was a little too much.

Mark at Bickle camp is right we had 3'' on NOV 1st!! this spring should be amazing.
I am out that way all the time working on the cabins with Mark of Mark's off road. we have done some major roof reapers out that way.

The Post office
The BLM is putting a new roof on that cabin and I am going to make some windows for it. Hopefully we can get it up and going
this year.
