Headed to death valley next month in my Fj40 leaving Alabama on the 15th plan on being in DV for probably two days then will be exploring parks in the area the remainder of the week. Would be awesome to have more trucks along.

Sounds pretty sweet. Wish I could do it. Some buds and I be wheeling in Texas earlier that weekend, just start your vacation early and stop by Barnwell Mountain Recreation Area in Gilmer, Tx!

Sounds fun! Unfortunately I'm usually in a hurry to put Texas in my rear view I love the initial change of scenery.
I'm planning to be in DV on those dates in my 100 and a buddy in his FJ Cruiser. Coming from San Diego though, so won't be much help from a convoy perspective. Maybe I'll see you on a trail.

That's awesome! I'm not sure what side I will come in on, are you planning on camping?
Yes, in planning to camp. I need to spend more nights in my RTT to bring the cost per night down! Am hoping to camp at Texas Spring near Furnace Creek, but if that's full, I will head out into the wilderness to camp.
Most likely I will come in by way of Harry Wade Road from the south...conditions permitting of course.
