Any of you guys had a call from your dealer trying to buy your 200 back? I have had several, including one from an out of state dealer that I used once for a service issue. I alway tell them after all the extras/mods I have done you probably wouldn't want it anyway/not for sale.

Yes. My local dealership hounded me with letters and phone calls after each visit for an oil change. Id tell them the same thing. Found out it was two of their used car guys scoping out what comes through the service bay. little commission hungry hyenas

It is just a sales gimmick. Many different dealers and brands send cards like that. No, they didn't search for your particular vehicle and decide that they really want a Landcruiser of that age. They just want a potential customer to come on the lot and it is worth it to them to send out a few thousand cards and get a few more people on the lot.

I used to get those calls. I told the salesman on the last one that if the local Toyota dealer ever wanted to sell me another new Toyota, they better take my name off whatever lists they were using and to knock the BS off. Haven’t heard from them since, and I have bought 2 new Toyota’s since.
