Has anyone done a dash upgrade from a 1994 to a 1995 before? Also wanna change the door panels. My interior is in seriously bad shape.

Thanks,

Brian

The later dash has an airbag on the passenger side. There is no way to safely retro-fit the airbag.

couldn't you just do it without the air bag???

my friend retrofitted a dash from a 99 vette into a 87 vette and just didn't take the airbags over, worked fine:confused:

airbag

Don't need airbag at all. I won't be using the steering wheel of that year either...I hava momo sweet steering wheel. I think the only problem I will encounter is wiring length. Also the instrument cluster is different, I would like to keep my odometer....anyone done this conversion????

I imagine you could.

What happens down the road when the vehicle is sold a time or two and the new purchaser thinks he got an airbag that isn't there?

What if that fact is discovered after a collision?

I just do not think it's a good idea to go there.

yeah that would suck, although I would hope all people would actually tell a new buyer of this fact before it is sold... but there are some shady people out there
