Can anyone tell me the size of the dash speakers.... ?

mine are totally blown / rotted ??

My computer isn't on and about to crash, but tomorrow I'll check to see if it is on toyo.diy and send your way.

I dont think that will tell you the size ( might be wrong )

but I know there are alot of us that have changed out for better speakers...since OEM are garbage even new

Previous owner installed a set of jbl 4" in my 78. They sure are a bastard to get at. Kind of a poor spot for them, as they point down at your knees.... a shame theres no room in the doors. I barely hear mine unless its turned way up or i fade the stereo 3/4 to the front...
I was thinking of making a overhead console with speaker provisions and a spot for extra switches,2way etc.

You can put speakers in the doors....Well in my KZJ78 I have managed to but you need to space them out a bit and I also moved the pocket back a bit...
If anyones interested I can throw up a pic of the end result...
And as already said... The dash speakers are 4"... I put some replacement units in "Fusion" brand here in NZ and run them with my door speakers....

Mercedes and BMW used the same 4" size in their cars from the 80s which are better quality.
Got the info from the local car stereo shop.

x 15 on the 4". I did this recently plus added [using factory Troopy alu covers] 6" speakers into the rear doors. The lads at Toyota even remembered to put the bolt holes just in case I ever wanted rear speakers..
