Dash light problems HZJ78 (1 Viewer)

Hello,

After replacing a failed (instantly blocked) alternator on a LHD troopy (2001 1HZ) the lights on the dash stopped working.
Normally when you turn the key into the glow position several light come up, glow - battery - T-belt .... for a few seconds and then go out.
The only lights that come up are the oil pressure and the door contact when open.
Checked all the fuses ans fusible links, are all ok.
The lights don't work but the glow relay works, everything works fine...
If we push on the sub button the light comes up, if we put him in low gear the light comes up...

Anybody that can give me a direction ?

Just out of plain curiousity: did you ever find out what was wrong? How did you repair it?

The new alternator had an internal fault.
