Never had this happen before. Yesterday, noticed the dash gauges were not working. Checked the 10 amp fuse and it was blown. Fortunately, a gas station we stopped at had the fuses and replaced it and drove the remaining 50 miles home without a problem. Later in the day, took another drive and was fine. When backing out of the spot, noticed the gauges weren't working again. Figure the fuse must have blown when the signal for the back up camera was triggered, as upon startup both times when the fuse was blown, it happened when I started the car up and was backing out. Does this make any sense? Why would this just start happening now out of the blue? I did just get my alternator replaced last week, which was a warranty replacement since the previous one had crapped out after just a few months.
