So what happened to Darius? Was he able to get his truck out?

He broke the short and the long side...

Posted on the list. Just got replacement shaft yesterday. Looking for someone to go out there with me on Saturday. Should not take very long. Any offers????

Darius

Broke the other shaft on Saturdayafter the v-crack on same trail before the waterfall. Shifter linkages were out of adjustment. Trans was reading 2nd gear (would not go down to 1st), so I figured no power in 2nd gear start. Was not paying attention that I was just off the right line and rear driver was wedged under a rock, instead of ontop of small rock 8" to left. Outsmarted the trans and put it into 3rd(trans starts in 1st) hit gas and loaded up the tranny. Boom!!!

2 rear shafts in 3 days. not good....

Thanks for offering Joel.

I got her out of there this past weekend. Pretty uneventful, other than taking the wrong line down the waterfall. Just had to back her up and stack a couple of rocks in the hole, that caused me to lawn dart into the rock infront of the hole. All is well, and I am getting pretty good at these semifloater repairs. that make a total of three rear shafts( 1 right and 2 left). Luckily the Aussie held up. The driver side that broke this last time had a spiral break that traveled about an inch into the side gear clutch of the Aussie Locker. It did not stretch or at least did not look like it.
