I often work after 5:30 or so, and usually come in at least once during the weekend for a little while.
I usually get about 5X as much done when no one is here.

Use the zoom feature on the camera. It's all white b/c the flash is too close and washing it out. Zoom in from far away and the flash doesn't wash it out.

No resolution, as of yet? The best way for this guy to save face is just to pay for the damn thing and admit his mistake. Or, like everyone has already said a number of times, offer evidence that you paid. WTF is so complicated about that?

I'll give you a litte hint. If he stood next to that guy, Doug would make him look like a 6 year old. NorCalDoug is a large Human who can cook. 6' 4" maybe 6' 5"? Hell I'm 5' 11 and 3/4" and look him in the chin, I chit you not.
