Damp under driver floor mat

I have an 87 BJ74 and for the last week I noticed it being damp under the drivers floor mat.... I water has no smell and I have pulled out the mat to let the carpet dry.

Any ideas where the moisture is coming from?

or the rubber seal under the windscreen frame. I had a leak there last winter and I sealed it up with some rubber sealeant and no more problem. The seal on mine seems to have eroded from the weather

Its temporary until I respray

Also check if the brake or clutch master is leaking. Is the paint peeling where the moisture is?

I will take a closer look when it gets above freezing.... Maybe in April...
