I bought the factory CV boot rebuild kit and I don’t think that it comes with enough grease. The manual says 310g to 320g in the outboard boot and 314g to 324g in the inboard boot. The kit only comes with 3 tubes that add up to 472g for both boots. Is the manual incorrect?

Sounds like it's short a tube of grease to me. I would agree that the FSM implies you should need about 625-650g.

I have not rebooted a CV myself so let's see what the experts say though.

The dealership confirmed that the kits were short on grease and ordered more for me. Something to look out for if you order the boot kit.
