I have a torn CV boot on my 08 on the passenger side. Normally I would just replace the boot but the CV is clicking and the boot has no grease in it. The OE part is crazy spendy (580 something) which is off the table for me. Anyone have a good vendor for aftermarket CV axles? I've been looking at these guys

They seem to be a good blend between cheapo reman and OE build. I have a shop willing to put on MEVOTECH and another to put on FEQ but I've heard not to use FEQ and mevotech is hit and miss. Thoughts?

p.s. I would do this myself to save on labor but I just blew out my knee which takes that option away so labor price being what it is I would prefer to get the most bang for my buck.

unfortunately i dont have exp with there CV. Ive only purchased the red boot kit from them and replaced my OEM boot with high angle red boots from CVJ. So far so good being lifted.

I went CVJ with the high angle/oem boots, held up great now for over a year. Plus, if you still have OE Toyota axles then you can send them back for a decent refund.

Check with Toyota dealers, they may have OEM remans in stock or available. Local-to-me dealer quoted $120 for an OEM reman.
