So here’s the question and I assume it’s a dumb one cause I’m kinda a dumb guy. Cutting 80 series rotors would you cut it on or off the hub? I’m not 100% positive if the hub would actually fit on the brake lathe as you would with an older say Chevy or for 2wd with the bearings and races integrated into the rotor assembly. Or would it be fine just to chock up the rotor removed from the hub assembly. I’m thinking for absolute best results cutting the rotor still attached to the hub would take some possible variables out of the equation although I’m not actually sure you could chock it up due to the thickness of the hub, and I’m some what doubting any company who makes rotors for a 80 series is taking the set up time to cut rotors that way unless the have some kind of jig to bolt the rotor to…… just some hits blunt thoughts I had. I’m wondering if anyone has experience in this. I’ve cut all flavors of rotors on almost you name it over the years but not for a LC80 feel free to thoroughly berate and ridicule me I love it
