Yes, even in this section somebody has to gripe about cup holders. The liners of my Gen1 Sequoia were shot. They were worn and ragged, and offered no support for a drink. I believe this is a common design and problem for other models too. In fairness to Toyota, monstrous steel adult sippy cups were not really a thing in ‘07.

I thought about taking them out, tracing them on rubber, and cutting out a new set. But first, google. Well what do you know, somebody has already done it. Aftermarket FITS Toyota Sequoia cup holder INSERTS 1st row NEW PAIR | eBay

I ordered a set for what I consider time/material cost if I was going to DIY. Here is what I got next to the old. Different shape in the middle, but the mounting area is identical. Note the series of small holes. These would make it an absolute nightmare to do manually and mesh with the teeth on the console.

Pretty simple installation. Pop out the center console; there are no screws yet but you need to unhook the switches. Flip it over, remove the series of screws holding the cup holder in place, swap the liner, then reattach everything.

Final thoughts. It still seems like a poor design. The replacement does restore some structure to the edges but it is a soft material like the factory before it aged. It looks much better at least. Cheers.
