Greetings,
Finally time to start a build thread. I picked up a single owner 2005 GX470 with 130,000 miles. This thing is immaculate, no interior issues, all maintenance at the Lexus dealership, just an absolute gem. After searching for about 4 months, I couldn’t pass on it. It has KDSS, I know some dislike that, but I’m willing to be happy with it.
So the mod bug hit quick. The day I signed papers I went ahead and started ordering parts.
First order was from TreatyOak Off-road, Dobinsons twin tube 2” lift, UCAs and rear bag delete.
For tires, I selected Nitto Grapplers 255/80 on the stock rims. I actually like the Pizza Cutters look.
I ordered some Steel skid plates from TKO over in Georgia. A solid product, and the owner is a cool person. Still waiting on the Sliders and Repalcement rear bumper to arrive, but after seeing the Skid plates, im fine waiting since they are built well.
I’ve been getting help from this great local shop Duggys Off-road. They specialize in Lexus/Toyota off-road and have been a wealth of knowledge.
This is going to be fun.
