For anyone wanting to download the posters &/or letters for Cruiser Days 2006,

http://www.4shared.com/dir/337652/b536485b/sharing.html

There are 5 posters (all PDF format, 2 of which you haven't seen yet, I think the Cheam one is as good as Agent Orange one), and 4 letters.

Letters are...

(1) 2006 Cruiser Days - Sponsor letter - raffle - generic
(2) 2006 Cruiser Days - Sponsor letter - raffle - vendor specific
(3) 2006 Cruiser Days - Sponsor letter - table - generic
(4) 2006 Cruiser Days - Sponsor letter - table - vendor specific

PLEASE someone call me...
- the links doesn't work
- you can't download the files
- there is mistakes in either the letters or posters
- you can explain to me why I've been at the office for over 8 hrs today

Have a great week all. I'm off to Vancouver Island till Sat night.

I tried the link and it works. Was able to download one of the letters. The rest should work too.

Great job Clarence! We are lucky to have your excellent talents. Please remember to acknowledge the photographers somewhere on the posters.

Nice work Clarence,

They all look real good. My only problem is the one with Orange in it. I think that poster represents more of the River Shiver than Cruiser days, I don't know if the RMLCA will have problems with you using that picture, but for me, Cruiser Days happens in August, with no snow around, and I think Cruiser days posters should have more local places on them. Don't get me wrong, I think it is an awsome picture, just doesn't represent cruiser days. Just my opinion.
Cheers,

Point taken. I thought about that. My response....

(1) It is a shot from River Shiver, but it's a Coastal Cruiser truck (see BTW below), and a great picture. Only a privileged group of informed people know what River Shiver is. Most won’t make any association to River Shiver or RMCLA.
(2) I took the picture, which should give me the right to use it
(3) Charla gave me permission to use the picture
(4) Cruiser Days is in Aug, but it's a celebration of Cruisers, not of summer. Cruisers exist year round, so a winter pic of a Cruiser should be fair game.

In the end, I'm not fussed either way. If the club thinks we should pull the poster, I have no issues with that.

BTW – the loose guidelines I used for selecting pictures was the shot should either be of a Coastal Cruiser truck, or from a Coastal Cruiser event. Someone pointed out that Charla may not be a Coastal Cruisers member (I just assumed she was/is)… but a Coastal Cruisers member (being me) took the shot. Anybody care?

All good reasons,
I am pretty sure Charla is a CC member, and it is an awsome picture, just thought that the snowy rocky mountains didn't really say Cruiser days to me. And I don't think you should change it, because you probably put in a lot of work already, trust me, I know.
Just thinking out loud I guess.
Cheers,

YES, CHARLA IS A MEMBER OF CC IN GOOD STANDING. IN FACT, SHE'S OUTSTANDING IN HER FIELD (AS SHE LIVES ON A FARM!) ;p

Below is Clarence's smoker!

Hi guys. I pointed out the same issues to Clarence but he still decided to use the picture. After seeing the rest in the 'series' I can see why he opted to use it.

Love,

hows 'tings mon?

So after receiving that email about the Prado from Dawn at Peace arch Toyota, I hit 'em for donations as well and invited them out.
I'll check in at the local T&T and see what their status is for prizes as well, was a few months ago when I dropped off the request.

posters & letters

Hi someone. I've changed computors and can't seem to find the posters and letters that I thought I had saved. The link on this thread doesn't seem to work either. can someone help out point me in the right direction.
