Only so many hours in a day... Need to cut this in half so it is feasible to print

The Lutz works well. We've installed a few and while a bit small it keeps a nice clean look.

Man... I wish that truck was mine but alas Pua'a is @gonzopancho 's beautiful machine! One 55 to rule them all

Drop in bezel for the 80

I have looked at this and for the amount of effort that it took to create it I am not sure what it offers that anyone would want besides a fresh dash that can connect to their sensors for swaps. Maybe I am missing something

Any chance you could make a gauge pod that accommodates one standard 52 mm gauge and this gauge (it's deeper than a standard guage) EMS3 | Madman Developments - https://madmandevelopments.com/ems3-2/

Thank you

I think it would fit in the lowest slot. It’s pretty deep already, stretches all the way to the glass

I laughed more than I should have at this. No hate on the turbo kit as I have one going in my own 80 series.
Having just ridden in Johnny’s Stage 1 80 again yesterday, I can tell you, compared to our stock 80, the acceleration level attained makes it feel worthy of the gauges!

Previous owner of my rig installed a hood scoop and Range Rover vents into the hood in preparation for a Mishimoto intercooler for a turbo setup. He never installed the turbo, and now I own the rig.

I’m wondering if I could somehow install the C&C intercooler on top of the motor to take advantage of the hood scoop and extra ventilation, and of course whether it would even be a better location and worth the hassle than where Johnny currently has it.

I tried figuring out what intercooler he may have been looking into, but it’s not clear to me.

Regardless, I’ve already ordered mine from C&C with the S1+ turbo setup.

Does an 8 speed exist for the 1FZ-FE?
Yes. With the proper adapters a ZF8 will bolt in. There’s a thread here but the title is 6R80 something. It’s a very efficient design and one that can even run straight coupled to the engine(no torque converter). Lots of work and $$ to make it happen but it’d be super sweet.

air to air on top of the engine turns into a interheater real quick imho

fuel keeps her cool!

Not an 8HP.

BUT The trans has a much deeper first gear, slightly taller overdrive, is 11% more efficient, stronger for more stage 2 madness, will keep the driveshafts the same and be very PNP with a very versatile controller that will hook to the factory 93/4 ecu’s, the 95-97 ecu and will connect to our emu black via CAN.

Also will only require a new bellhousing to work…

Oh and you can buy remanned units from Toyota.

Surely someone can guess lol bellhousing has already been made.
What gear ratios are we talking about?

All I found was 4.79... 2.81... 1.84... 1.43... 1.21... 1.00... 0.82... 0.67

Lol....wishful but any % discount is 👍. We made you OBD1 guys the kit. Now I need one for my daily.
