Hello all,

Still fighting with my transfer case looks like it's going to need a lot of work and parts.

So i was checking out cruiserparts.net they have rebuilt transfer cases for $1200 w/ free ship.

Has any one delt with these guys are they a reliable resorce?

I've only bought from them once. They are up in the salty road country and what I bought was rusty, and not usable out of the box. It is now with lots of oil and time to soak. There has to be a better choice closer. How about Kurt at Cruiser Outfitters in SLC.

I've had mixed luck w/smaller parts. About half the time it's dirty/torn/wrong color/bad fit. They've been helpful when I call to report same, either sending another part or explaining the fitment.

Not sure I'd drop that much money on them: I concur w/Pappy to encourage you to look for a less-rusty option.

$1200 seems ridiculous for a transfer case, what's wrong with yours? Vince has a tranny/transfer from an '83 with 130k miles I don't think he's going to use.

Too bad you didn't get the one at upull a few weeks ago.
