Guys any suggestions for shops in the area? I found one guy on craigs list but looking for others. Need the front end service done for an 80.

When you say front end services do you mean axle services, tie/steering rod ends or alignment?

Front axle service including the birfields. The messy thing
Iron Pig is the only Cruiser centric shop in NOVA I know of.

X2 what John said. It is really not that bad. Takes a while and a little paitence but it is easliy done in a 2 car garage.
I couldn't be there the entire time but could definately help you get started, finish up and be avaialble for questions as well as provide all the speciality tools.

Thanks all I dropped it off at IPOR on Sat since thats when i was able to convince a friend to help me. Its a few weeks out before I see her again but everyone seemed nice and the shop looked packed and the "to do" board was full so that makes me feel better than trusting the craigslist mechanic i was going to drop it off to who could do it "tomorrow".
