Cruiser heads in Nantucket Island, MA area?

Hey gents,

I'm hoping to touch base with someone in the Nantucket Island area. There is a hundy for sale I'd like to get checked out before I make the 7/8 hour trip from NJ.

I'll cover gas/ferry ride/beer.

I believe this is the same guy I almost bought an 80 from last year on Nantucket. He was very bizarre to say the least. I kept asking him to send me pics especially highlighting any problem areas before I spent the time to go look at it. He sent me random low-res pics after several days and it was clear he was avoiding the problem areas. He said it had no rust because he kept it in Palm Beach up until last year, but I could see rust bubbles on the leading edge of the hood and on the tail gate. He advertised it as having 140,000 miles, but in one of the pics he sent, it had 165,000 miles. I asked him to meet me on the cape, but he declined so I didn't waste the trip to go see it.

Nantucket winters are very harsh on vehicles that sit outside due to the salt air. Wish I could help you, but I'm not going anywhere near that seller.

Sounds about right. Perhaps I should just skip it, but for the price and an e-locker rear... tempting.
