I just signed for this Toyota centric 4x4 gathering in Toele, Utah (SLC area) Sept 20-22. I believe this is their fifth running of this popular event. They have all kinds of activities planned at Miller Motorsports Park. But the reason I signed up is the Moab to Toele Excursion (their term, I'd call it adventure travel) on mostly dirt and 4x4 trails Sept 18-20. Kurt Williams is leading this and he knows the Utah backcountry like few else. This trip is very limited and nearly full so if interested you better move quick.

Very cool Ace. I really hope to be on the Moab to CF run as well. Hope to know for sure very soon! Club members. This is a great opportunity to see some awesome Toyota's and Toyota gear relatively close to home. Greg and the Miller group are building an incredible event. The two expedition style trips to get there are icing on the cake.
 
When I signed up yesterday there were only 2-3 spots open. But lots of room if you are just doing the weekend thing which should be plenty cool too.

Only one spot now. Bob Brown wants to go but is waffling about bringing his trailer.

I'm bringing mine!
 
Thinking of doing just the SLC weekend portion of this. We'll see. Lot's going on.

Dial "lots" back and come on. I'm sure there will be many 55s there. Heck Miller's liable to try and buy yours and put it in his museum.

Well I'm in and looking forward to it! Looks like it's turning out to be a great group of drivers attending. Looking forward to exploring some new terrain.
 
Good. I assume your pulling your trailer. Bob Brown is worried Kurt is trying to discourage him from bringing his trailer. He has not said no, but not encouraging it either. What's your take regarding small trailers like ours?
 
Sadly, I'm not going to make it.. I have an axle housing that needs a ride from the Miller Motorsports Park to Glenwood Springs, or Junction. Let me know if any of u guys could help me out, so I can get my 40 back on the road! Thx! Ray

If it was something lighter I could stash on the roof rack but already pretty full when I travel.
 
I'm getting quite a lot of work done to my truck Monday so I think I'll load up my gear and head west when done. Probably camp around Dewey Bridge Monday night then somewhere west of Arches on Tuesday. Probably get breakfast and top off fuel in Moab before the rendezvous at 8:00. Yeehah, another road trip.
 
We met up as planned and headed out with 12 rigs from as far away as NC and even Venezuela. Ran into unexpected mud in places and rescued one traveler and one of our own group. Some first day photos.

I figured there would be. Unless its a rock crawling event you never get a ton of minis at a Toyota event. People seem to think they are single purpose rigs.
