So where's the best place to get new (or oem used) springs?

Isnt that called "whileiminthereitis" ?!Man I love new parts. Those look great and should last a lifetime. Careful as you change thos out you might find 5 other mods you want to make. It Happens.......
The spindles feel good. No play in either wheel. As far as the shackles, I don't know.n I put them back on facing the same way they were but i didn't install them originally. If they are backwards that would be good to know.I'm having a hard time with the pictures and geometry that I can see, but are you sure your shackles are facing the correct way? You might be putting a lot of stress laterally on the midpoint of the spring (where they broke) at full flex, instead of focusing the torque down the length. I could be wrong, but I'd hate to see a brand new set of broken springs
Also, CHECK YOUR SPINDLES after such a hard hit. I've broken three. If there is ANY play when you grab the top of the wheel while it's in the air then fix it! It's not an expensive part, but if it's broke, the only thing holding your axle together is the C clip.
