Its that time o' year!
whats everyone wishing for or getting their "babies" for gifts this year?
i got my Iron Pig bumper set up. The old girl will love it, because i accessorised,
painting all the hardware black, with a SOR black tire cover. shes gonna love it.
and i weas able to hide the bill!

happy holidays to all! and remember all of those who are no longer with us, and those serving over there , and all over, keeping us safe. Hug the little ones, and have one for me!

A new engine is in store for me, as well as a stereo and some speakers. Then maybe some sliders and protection. My girlfriend will find out one way or another, so I dont even hide the reciepts anymore! How do you like the shackle lift hammer? I might consider that as well. What size tires are you running?
 
I'm curious how you like the shakle lift also? I'm making some plans for another 60 and would like to save some money on OME for a while and put it toward the motor!!

i like the shakle lift. gives it a more "manley " stance.
Im running stock tires.
the only problem was that the shackles, from SOR, used a 5/8" bolt, and the shackles had only 1/2" holes. try drilling those out of 3/14" steel, without breaking your arm.
thank god i have a vertical mill.

Santa did come a bit early for me - a second 78 FJ55 that need some serious love. I'll try to post some pics over the weekend.

I put 'em on with the OME's and it was too much(like 7" of lift!) so I took em back off

I appreciate the offer but I'm just researching right now... I don't even have the cruiser to put them on yet!!! My current 60 already has OME and like you said it doesn't need to be any HIGHER.

(off topic) Is that 5.8 ford a diesel?, I'm researching diesel swaps right now... looks like you have a hook-up being at a ford stealer!

(on topic)I got my present early too... a new set of BFG ATs 32".

I hope this friday I can hold in my hands my new rear brake setup, new calipers with e-brake, brakets, rotors, pads, bolds .. bla bla bla .. :D so happy .. !

I'm getting new front fenders, a new radiator crossmember, a new bumper, two new headlight assemblies and a new fender that goes below the grill. If I have any money left over, I will get a set of OME springs to compliment the new fenders.

I'm getting a new (well new to me) drivetrain - replacing my 400K+ 2H/H55F with a much lower mileage 2H + ATX turbo/H55F. Can't wait for the power!!

I was going to add a H55, but the wife likes the auto... and will allow me to buy the other parts too. YEAH. Domestic tranquility rocks.
