Cruise Control Installation

Dear all, i have 100 LC without cruise control. It is 6 cylinder GXR Manual 2005.
In Arabian Gulf, usually it is imported with out Cruise control. I have notice that the wiring has plugs for the actuator in side the HUD like fjz80 95-97 model. My question is it possible to install the Cruise control components (actuator, Cruise TCM, Control arm) like plug and play?

I am guessing for your vehicle, but I believe the cruise control will be built into your Engine ECU, however whether or not the cruise function is turned on in the program is another thing. If you can unplug an actuator from another vehicle and also the on/off/set switches and plug them in and see if it works then this would be the best way to check. However for the price I would probably just install an aftermarket one. This may also be tricky if your vehicle does not have a throttle cable and is a drive by wire setup. (If it has a cable then there probably is no problems installing an aftermarket cruise control, probably a lot cheaper too.)
Edit: for a 2003 the Cancel switch is 1540 ohm, + switch 240 ohm, - switch 630 ohm, ON/OFF switch is direct connect meaning no resistor, only 2 wires required for the circuit with all switches/resistors in parallell accross them.

I had before a cable driven cruise control on 95LC. what i noticed on 100LC that the wiring plugs right side engine block and inside down driver legs are the same of 95-97LC. If anyone confirm these finding on 100LC with cruise built in.

Well this is fine. I would ask you to check any fjz100 from scrap for the wiring and components (cruise control ECU, Control switch, Stop switch, Actuator).

they said its come with complete kit & installation wiring so nothing to worried about it.

100 Series 6 Cylin. GXR are wide in Gulf Region. What about USA?

I wonder not seeing many discussion in my thread. I know that cruise control is always built in 8 cylin. only. My Idea will the Cruise Control components in the later can be fitted in the GXR.

GXR not including cruiser control u can use V8 cruiser for ur vehicle in emirates they have manual transm........ with cruiser control u can use it its easy.
