CROZET- July 17-18- and/or AUG 7

Ahhh ... usually the question works the other way doesn't it . "I wanna make sure the trail is stock friendly" hehe. There are some obstacles but little that will make your butt pucker. I would like it to be a little more challenging too, it's a nice ride of ~7miles, you can easily do it each way in a morning. I am waiting for another opportunity to hit Crozet ....

Is there anything more challenging? My 80 isn't a beast, but it isn't stock either.....

I think we are going to try to camp at Misty Mnt campground near Crozet.
My friend with the Jeep (maybe 2) and our sons.

I want to go back to Crozet as well. But I dont want the kids there. Maybe end of the month.

I'm not stuck on shoe creek if there is something better. I've heard 2nd Mountain and Dictum are more challenging but I havent been there.

Camping

We did get a reservation at Misty Mountain Campground, Fri and Sat. $25 nite
My buddie stayed there once for Camp Jeep. I guess they have some trails of their own on the property.

Hope to be a the camp by 8 on Friday. Looks like good weather, 85/65.

We are camping at near Wayesboro. I planned to meed Mike (Akoda) on Sat morning around 10, probably on HiWay 29 somewhere.

Will that work for you?

I'll give you a call this weekend, I'm thinking Saturday...just a matter of what time, a few other things going on but will be late morning and i'll have most of the day unless I go to the junkyard!

Noel, whats wrong with the 80?

It is still strip down to pieces. I'm taking it to the dealer to replace the engine but don't know which toy dealers are reliable in engine overhaul or replacement. You all know the headgasket is blown, then there's some metal pieces on the oil pan due to oil starvation when the oil pump did not run.

I'll give you a call this weekend, I'm thinking Saturday...just a matter of what time, a few other things going on but will be late morning and i'll have most of the day unless I go to the junkyard!

I'll be in Northwest River Park camp site this coming week end. Will be back home by Sunday morning, maybe you can hit me up then.
