So what is the deal there? I believe I saw that it cost $30 to play as a guest. How much is membership? and could I sign up for that while there? How big is this place?

There are 2 ways to wheel there:
1. Open Weekends where anyone can come and pay $30 (non-members). Joining is optional
2. Join for 25$ year and come almost anytime, $25 per day, $40 weekend.
You can join onsite when you come with a member. So $50 total for 1st day.
Thats what we are proposing for Aug 7th, since its not open wheeling.
The only slight issue is that membership is Sept-Sept, so buying in Aug means you only get 2 months.
There is a post on RCPFA.com that talked about allowing new members to pay $30 in July/Aug and get the 2 months + the next year. But there doesnt seem to be a final verdict on that.

QTE: How big is this place?
It's a lot of trails around a big cow pasture.
I guess I only saw 10% of it, which was about 4 hrs on the trail.

Sorry to hear you cant make it Mike.
I think the 60 will be ready. I got the Steering box back in, new TRE kit installed and had to get a new battery today, heat killed the old one.
So far so good.
2 weeks out, getting psych'd.

hey brother I hate to do it to you but i dont think im going to be able to make this afterall. got alittle to much on my plate at the moment, and have yet to do work on my engine that should have been done awhile back.

I might just do that. I've never been there.
It's quite a few hrs for me so depending on the weather I could go up Friday night and crash in the truck.
Probably cooler on a mountain.

It isn't much more than 30 minutes more than it was to Crozet. I am 90% sure it's the same exit off of 64, then just head south towards Wintergreen

Short answer is near Wintergreen or search for Montebello, Va which is closer to the trail head. The trails are very stock friendly.

Is there anything more challenging? My 80 isn't a beast, but it isn't stock either.....
