Posting this to share a thread started by Colorado guys after having seen the Colorado trail system at SAS this year. The short version is that the NFS is considering closing many trails in the Pike-San Isabel Forests due to an environmental lawsuit that was filed back in 2011. That resource is worth speaking out for, even if you haven't been yet; you want to see and experience that place.
